About the Random Picker
The random picker draws whatever you need: whole numbers in any range, lottery tickets, dice rolls, coin flips, or names from a list. Every result is equally likely.
Lottery tickets follow the rules of popular games – Lotto 6/45, Loto 6 and Loto 7, Powerball, EuroMillions, Lotto 6aus49, UK Lotto, the French Loto, La Primitiva and Mega-Sena – including their extra balls. Each page starts with its own country’s game.
The draws use your browser’s cryptographically secure random number generator (Web Crypto) with rejection sampling, so no number comes up more often than another. Nothing is sent to a server.

Limitations and notes
- A lottery number generator cannot improve your chances: every combination is equally likely to be drawn.
- Draws are not saved; copy the result if you need to keep it, and press Generate again for a new one.
- Names are drawn line by line, so a name typed twice can be drawn twice.
- Numbers must be whole numbers between −1,000,000,000 and 1,000,000,000.
Frequently asked questions
Is this random number generator truly random?
It uses the browser’s cryptographically secure generator, the same source used for passwords, and avoids the bias of simple modulo arithmetic.
Can it predict lottery numbers?
No. Lottery draws are random, and every combination has the same chance. The tool just saves you choosing numbers yourself.
How do I pick a random winner from a list?
Choose Names, paste one name per line, enter 1 and press Pick.
Can numbers repeat?
Only if you turn off "No repeats". With it on, every number in the result is different.
Are my names or numbers uploaded?
No. Everything is drawn in your browser and nothing is sent or saved.
