About the Case Converter
The case converter changes the capital letters of your text in one click. Turn a shouted heading into lower case, write a title in Title Case, or tidy a paragraph into normal Sentence case.
It also makes names for code: camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case, kebab-case and CONSTANT_CASE. Paste a list of phrases, one per line, and every line becomes its own name, which is handy for variables, CSS classes, file names and URL slugs.
The text is converted in your browser and never leaves your device.

Features
- Nine cases: UPPER CASE, lower case, Title Case, Sentence case, camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case, kebab-case and CONSTANT_CASE.
- Smart word splitting: Recognises words in phrases and in existing names such as myVariable, HTMLParser or user_id.

- Any language: Letters without capitals, such as Korean or Japanese, are kept as they are.
- Private: Nothing is uploaded; the conversion runs on your device.
Examples
Headline
“HELLO WORLD. HOW ARE YOU?” in Sentence case is “Hello world. How are you?”
Variable name
“user account id” becomes userAccountId in camelCase and user_account_id in snake_case.
Existing names
getHTTPResponse becomes get-http-response in kebab-case.
Limitations and notes
- Title Case capitalises every word; it does not keep small words such as “of” or “the” in lower case.
- Sentence case starts a new sentence after a full stop, question mark or exclamation mark only.
- Code cases leave out punctuation and spaces, and keep accents and other letters as they are.
- Texts longer than 1,000,000 characters must be converted in parts.
Frequently asked questions
What is camelCase?
Words joined without spaces, each starting with a capital except the first, such as userAccountId.
What is the difference between snake_case and kebab-case?
Both use lower case. snake_case joins words with underscores, kebab-case with hyphens.
Can I convert several names at once?
Yes. Put each name on its own line and every line is converted separately.
Does it work with Korean or Japanese text?
Yes. Those letters have no capitals and stay as they are; Latin letters around them are converted.
Is my text sent anywhere?
No. The conversion happens in your browser.
