About Add Watermark to Image
Add a watermark to your photos before you share them: a line of text such as "© 2026 Your Name", or your logo. Choose its size, opacity and angle, and put it in a corner, an edge, the middle, or tile it over the whole picture so it cannot simply be cropped away.
Add up to 20 photos at once. Every photo gets the same watermark at the same place, scaled to its own width, and you can download them one by one or together as a ZIP file. A preview shows how the watermark looks on the photo you choose.
Everything happens in your browser. The photos and the logo are never uploaded, and the photos keep their full size.
How to use it
- Choose Text and type your text, or choose Logo image and pick a PNG, JPEG or WebP logo.
- Set the size, the opacity and the angle, and choose one of the nine places or Tile.
- Choose whether to keep each photo’s format or save them all as JPG, PNG or WebP.
- Add your photos. They are watermarked one after another as soon as they are added.
- Check the preview, then download each photo or all of them as a ZIP. If you change a setting afterwards, press the button to apply it again.
Features
- Text or logo: Type any text in any language your device can show, in the color you choose, or use a logo with a transparent background.
- Nine places or tiled: Put one watermark in a corner, on an edge or in the middle, or repeat it over the whole photo.
- Many photos at once: Up to 20 photos, each up to 50 MB, with one ZIP download.
- Readable on any photo: An optional soft shadow keeps white text visible on light skies and snow.
- Upright and full size: Phone photos are turned the right way up, and every photo keeps its original resolution.
Examples
Photographer’s portfolio
Put "© 2026 Jane Doe" in the bottom-right corner of a set of photos at 60% opacity.
Product photos
Add your shop’s logo to every product photo before uploading them to a marketplace.
Documents and proofs
Tile "SAMPLE" at 45° across photos you send for review so they cannot be reused.
Limitations and notes
- Saving removes the photos’ EXIF data, such as camera details, date and GPS location.
- Animated GIF, WebP and PNG files keep only their first frame. GIF, BMP and AVIF photos are saved as PNG when you keep the original format.
- One watermark per photo, in one line of text or one logo; there is no choice of font.
- Photos larger than 50 megapixels cannot be saved at their full size; make them smaller with the Image Resizer first.
Frequently asked questions
Are my photos uploaded?
No. The watermark is drawn in your browser, and the photos and the logo never leave your device.
Does the watermark change size on photos of different sizes?
It is set as a share of each photo’s width, so it looks the same on a small and a large photo.
How do I make a logo see-through?
Use a PNG logo with a transparent background, and lower the opacity until the photo shows through.
Why is my saved photo larger than the original?
The photo is saved again; at high quality, or as PNG, the file can grow. Lower the quality or choose JPG to make it smaller.
Is the location data kept?
No. Saving through the canvas leaves out EXIF data, including the GPS location, which also makes the photos safer to share.
